a pain in my backside

I don't know what kind of cactus this is but I do know that I don't like it. I also know that when I backed into it while I was trying to get the perfect angle at a photo shoot last night, hundreds of tiny (yet, surprisingly sharp and painful) spines stuck into my backside. Ouch.
