give thanks for thanksgiving

If you have totally forgotten about Thanksgiving, this post is not for you. If you have already hung your stockings, put up your Christmas tree, filled your jars with candy canes, you don't need to read any further. This is only intended for those that appreciate what a wonderful holiday Thanksgiving is, who like to remember the great sacrifice made for our country by the hardy Pilgrims and the helpful Indians, and still have pumpkins, fall leaves and other autumnal delights decorating their houses. I found these too cute pillows at Pottery Barn last week marked down from $30 to $20 (I couldn't find them on the website). I passed on them then, knowing they would go lower mostly because of so many people's general disregard for what is arguably our country's most important holiday. My friend found them yesterday for $14. Give thanks for sales.

I read it anyway. So sorry I'm such a bad person because my kids and husband want to put up Christmas stuff 2 weeks early. I'm still thankful for Thanksgiving and for friends who love me even though I put my Christmas stuff up early. (you're not one of them!) And if you want rolls this year...forget it! Cute pillows anyway.

I'm lovin' the pillows--probably cuz I love Thanksgiving. Glad to find a kindred spirit.
